Taylor: Senior 2017

Taylor, a 2017 senior killing the senior portrait game. She was incredible to work with. So fun and had a perfect go with the flow attitude. I’m not sure if I love senior sessions most because they make me feel young again, my ten-year reunion is this year WHAT. THE. WHAT?! Or if it’s because of the creativity that comes out of each session. Also, can we just give a little shout out to all of the makeup YouTube tutorials? McIntyre Family

You guys, I’ve been photographing them since 2012. That’s before Briella, before Drew was old enough to be in school, and before I was even trying to do this photo thing for real. Last year Bri was like “nope, not going to smile.” This year WE GOT SMILES! And back to school shoes for Bri. Which  I refuse to believe she’s that old now. Anyways, let’s all pretend they will stay this little as we peek at their session below!

Mr. and Mrs. Welcher

To say I’ve been able to photograph some amazing brides and grooms this year would be an understatement. Here we have Jess and Adam. Adam told people I made the Forbes 30 under 30 list this year. I mean it’s not true, but maybe someday ha! Jess wore a flower crown and I wanted to die right there on the floor in their getting ready room. The entire day was relaxed and special and hot. It’s possible they brought the heat with their good looks and love for one another. See for yourself and don’t act like you won’t say good heavens when you see them

 

Mr. and Mrs. Sells

Do you remember the couple whose engagement photos we did with the planes? The couple that straight looked like they walked off of a runway or GQ magazine spread? Yeah, those two recently got married and I can’t even with their wedding. Literally at a loss of words to describe the love between the two of them. I knew photographing their wedding would be about waiting for those silent moments, the secret love filled looks they gave to only each other, but then jumping on the spontaneous candid moments. Their hearts and souls are literally filled with gold and I can’t thank them enough for allowing me to share their day! Now then, laugh, cry  and enjoy the love with a peek of their day below!

Olivia // Senior 2017

Olivia is literally a dream model. She not only enjoys getting her photo taken, but she’s also really good at it and totally natural. I’m also trying to talk her and Jennie into becoming my clothes stylist and hair stylist for every shoot I do from here on out! No really though. The situations they put me in for this session were to die for. An old truck, beautiful outfits, and an iron bridge equals dream shoot. The fireworks of course were my idea ha! Nichols Family

Somehow we squeezed this session into my marathon of photo sessions two weeks ago. I’m so SO glad we did. I’ve been photographing them for a few years now from special events, pregnancies, anniversaries and NOW the entire family plus the newest addition. The wheat field and their grandmothers old stomping grounds are so special.

I’m the first to admit I am terrible with names. These boys thought it’d be cute to make up new ones that I somehow COULD remember. So here’s the Walters family, the red head we will call Jeff ha!

 

Magic Sessions

I refuse to photograph Jill and her boys at any other time but sunset. It never fails to bring magic. The sun, the silly boys and the interaction this time with her mom and them. Lord help me. See for yourself!
